zr1 engine year?
 

How can i verify what year an engine is? Numbers on the block and heads? engine is in pieces.

is the right side of the cam cover emblem red or black, does it have asr, 2 bolt or 4 bolt mains?

the cam cover has been polished and its a two bolt main

Does the cam cover have the emblem still attached to it? If so what color is the right side of the emblem. Does it have the asr?

if the right hand side of the emblem is red it's a 90
if it has asr it's a 92
if the emblem is black without asr it's a 91
