2006-What a Great Year
 

This has been a memorable year for me in part due to the following two events.

I was blessed in September with a grandson who is destined to become a ZR1/LT5 mechanic (if I have anything to say about it). I have been grooming him since he was born in September to become the new ZR1 Master. If I knew how to design webpages you would be able to view his credentials and achievements at www.thezr1master.com LOL

I was able to finally purchase a ZR-1 in May. I attended the Gathering in Las Vegas that was just plain fantastic. Since that purchase I have piloted the car to a 13.3 1/4 mile and 147 shot by radar (150 on the GPS). To top that off, the car got 24.5 MPG at about 73 MPH cruising back home from Vegas. Wow, what a machine, world class for sure. I met a lot of people in Vegas that I had been in touch with on this Forum and a few that I had not.

I am impressed by the generosity of this group with the Cary Fisher fundraising efforts and feel this has added to the ZR-1 experience for me.

I must say that there probably is no other car that has the capability to instill feelings in me like the ZR-1 has. I am hopelessly and passionately hooked on this vehicle.

Thank you Chevrolet and thanks to all the other ZR-1 nuts out there who have made this such a fabulous experience for me.

All ZR-1 owners know the feelings you have, but it is nice to see others such as yourself who eloquently put it into words.

Yes, you are right, we have many things to be thankful for including
the ZR1. ( I won't rub in the fact that it was sunny and 75 today!)
