Floppy Sun Visors
 

I have finally decided to replace these annoying floppy sun visors. What a cheap-*** thing GM did to this part. It's stiff cardboard, and no doubt it would fail.

I know some of you just shoved things in there to stiffen them up again, but I want to try something new. I want a driver's side visor with Home-Link. I know I saw such a thing many moons ago, but can't find one now.

Does anyone have a source for a sun visor with Home-Link?

I bought a pair through Mid America and they were perfect duplicates for the originals. Don't have the receipt handy but I think they were a couple hundred dollars but a perfect match for originals to I stepped up.--Bob

Thanks, Bob. I see MidAmerica has them with stickers for $199, and without stickers for $149. I also found Eckler's USED to sell the visor with Home-Link, but it's DISCONTINUED!

I'm still looking as I would like that home-link more than a vanity mirror.

I guess they didn't sell, or they wouldn't be discontinued. I have searched everywhere I can think of, and no luck. I hope the new ones don't have that same cheesy material inside.
