Looking for a quality, non fitted cover
I don't drive my Z as much as I should, yeah I know it's my fault, but when I'm not driving it I'd like to keep it covered without having to fight with the fitted cover I have now. Does anyone know of a non-fitted cover that's not a bed sheet out there for our cars?

A good C5 cover would work fine; that is what I use.

Is the car garaged?
If not, a fitted one is better for outside use. Might be a little harder to put on, but better in the wind etc. And John, keeps the pine needles out too... :-D |

Not sure if you've ever considered this, but I've found that most folks have serious misconceptions about covers being "protective". If you care about your car's finish, then the only time a cover should be used is immediately after the car has been thoroughly cleaned. And if the cover is ever used on an even slightly dusty car, then the cover should be thoroughly cleaned before being used again. Why? Ask yourself, would you wipe your dusty or dirty car with a dry towel? If you did, you'd just be grinding microscopic rocks into your paint. Stretching a cover over a dusty car is the same thing. Unless used properly, covers hurt your finish, and this is especially dangerous for dark colors. Just food for thought; unless you want to clean the car every week immediately before garaging and covering it, you may be doing yourself more harm than good.
