Carfax
Does anyone have an "unlimited" subscription to Carfax or access to GM databases? I would like to find out the original color of an early base C4 based on the VIN (RPO sticker is missing), and I think that either source can provide interior and exterior colors. Thanks!

Re: Carfax
you could (can?) order a new window sticker from the ncm. will tell you on there.

Thanks, but I should have clarified that I'm considering to buy and wanted to confirm paint and trim colors for originality. Someone suggested that GM dealers can confirm that for me with the VIN, so I'm going to try to do that tomorrow. |

Re: Carfax
guys I would not rely on carfax information too much. I know for a fact about several cars that were involved in crashes, repaired at dealerships and carfax never indicated these cars were involved in accidents. Carfax is nice to look over but dont think it is the actual history of a particular car. take it with a grain of salt...

Re: Carfax
Bob,
Thanks, but the seller just told me that it was a repaint... which is a deal=breaker for me in this case. I appreciate the offer though! |
