For Sale 1992 #043

Hi all,

Selling my 1992 ZR-1. In the end, I don't need 2 ZR-1s and I could use the funds for a project car. Starting here in the hopes it goes to a good home.

#043 is Bright Aqua Metallic with a gray interior. Only 27 that color in 1992, and 54 total, so it's a relatively rare color.

I purchased the car in 2011 with 41494 miles. It now has 43094 miles.

I've had the following done:
-- New slotted and drilled rotors
-- New coils
-- The instrument panel was rebuilt by Batee
-- Removed a cheesy venting system to the front brakes and installed new front air dam.
-- Installed 1-4 override switch
-- Removed LTPWS sensors. They come with the sale.

Otherwise, the car is very original. The LTPWS code comes on after driving for a few minutes, but other than that, no codes.

The windshield has some delam, but still has life in it.

Overall, I would rate the condition of the paint as 8 of 10. The rear bumper and some areas below the belt line appear faded. The wheels have a lot of road rash and need to either be refinished or replaced.

The interior is excellent but has the usual wear on the driver's bolster.

The car drives very strong and smooth. At startup, after the car has sat for a long period, I've occasionally noticed some light smoke from the exhaust. And, the exhaust stinks. Driving behind the car can be no fun. I haven't had it looked into and I'm not sure what it indicates.

The car is in SW Florida and can be inspected any time. I have clear title.

Asking $16,500

Thanks, and PM me or shoot me an email at john.creuziger@cruzeware.com if you want more pics, information, etc.

Hopefully, a fair price. It's not perfect, but I love the car, and I think a new owner would too!

Some more pics...please note, the tires/wheels shown in the pics are NOT what comes with the car. The wheels are the same style, but it comes with BF Goodrich tires and the wheels are not in good shape.

Wheels are straight, just lots of road rash. Lots of pits, scratches, etc.

This was the one Corvette my wife actually loved. She was always partial to Aqua and she looked great in it. But I would need to transfer EVERYTHING from the Black Rose car to this one. This is the first winter I don't have a "project".
