So my AC goes out, and the repair guy comes over and sees my ZR-1s. Turns out his dad owns a 90 LPE with a 385 package, runs solid 10.8s....need to recruit him for the next US41 shootout. :cheers:

I will be there this year, The LPE was a beast before Dr. Peteinstien got his hands on it. She may be the first "368" to break into the 10s. She is going on a strict diet in the next several months, Going to try to get her weight down to someone around Pete's car. With a few extra's, if the budget allows.


I am also going to try and get Ron Thompson to bring his "421"

I just sent the (CPCC) an email. They have a new club president this year: Herb Craig. But, we didn't have a date last year until July(?) IIRC.

I'll post the response when I hear back from them.

Looking at their website calendar, there is nothing posted there re: Corvette Challenge. Maybe they got tired of us coming in and kicking *** every year.
Unfortunate if it doesn't occur.

Yeah, that would be too bad. Course, there's nothing to prevent us from organizing a Challenge, in that case. Just a thought!

I have a friend w a 4WD DynoJet. Was thinking about organizing a
Dyno Day for FBI ZRs and greater Chicagoland owners.
