About White Racing Products.

Hi,Guys.

My name is Kenji.I live in Japan, and I purchased '95 year model ZR-1 in 1995 and still owns it.

Improvement of oil leak from engine and engine painting which was damaged are improved now.
There are parts that need to be replaced in order to do work, and we have decided to procure parts with some ZR-1 special shops.
One of the shops was White Racing Products.
I ordered parts from the Web shop and settled in Paypal, but there was no contact from the shop at all and there was no contact with the inquiries at all.
After all, since there was no contact for many inquiries and the parts did not reach, I applied for complaints to Paypal and was refunded.

Now that many of the parts of ZR - 1 have been discontinued, the parts that White Racing Products stocks are very valuable.

But why does not the part arrive even though ordering and payment are completed? Why can not you contact them?

Perhaps the company is on the verge of bankruptcy?
Does anyone have information about White Racing Products?

If you know something, could you please tell me?

Best regards.

Kenji.

Kenji,

Thanks for sharing.

I had a similar experience a year ago. White Racing's website had the part I needed, I placed the order but it didn't arrive after a reasonable time (and I'm only a US state away from them). It took many attempts to contact them but was able to get a refund. It was not a pleasant experience and I lost a lot of time.

Why don't you try calling him? his site is not up to date on a lot of parts listed.

Or better yet contact Jerry at Jerry's gaskets--he has lots of parts for LT5s or Mark Haibeck who should be able to help on some things. If they don't have things you need they can probably tell you who has them. Or alternatively, post here on the forum what you need and maybe someone will come up with them. Good luck with your efforts--the '95 is a great car that deserves to run well.--Bob

Right. Just set the alarm for the middle of the night and make the long distance calls from Japan.

It's not expecting too much to receive a product that has been paid for, or to let you know your order will be late, or may never come, or to respond to multiple emails.

In my case, it took a LOT of phone calls before a person answered. They apologized and gave a refund, but I was 2+ weeks without the part I needed.

I do agree with the suggestion of dealing with Jerry or Marc. They are both great.

Hi Kenji, what are you looking for? If it would be helpful somebody on this side can help get the part and then forward it to you with the exception of WHITE RACING PRODUCTS. I don't do business with Kurt White for obvious reasons.

I prefer dealing with venders that don't require good luck. :-)
