Backup lights not working
How difficult is it to replace the reverse light switch?

Little Hands, you might be OK. Either way an O2 Sensor socket makes it much simpler. Most new switches are unlike the original, and are simpler to install once the old one is removed. Most times the original switch is still operational, but just needs a thorough cleaning in order for it to work again. Marty |

I bought a box wrench and cut the handle off. Still in my toolbox.

Well....
You will want (need?) to get the car off the ground. A lift is best. DRM500 is correct; you need to have little kid hands as the switch is WAY up on the transmission I went to a "jiffy quick oil place" and rolled the car on the "oil pit" The young fellow below was able to reach up, unplug and put a wrench on my switch. In and out in 15 minutes. They did not want to charge me, but I brought a case of beer for the crew and they were way more happy. |
