Good News for Ontario ZR-1 Owners

Met a super guy today who has a corvette Shop right here in Ontario Canada . Dave Stephenson. Located in the beautiful town of Port Perry and is a Corvette Specialist and also was a Crew Chief for Powell Motorsports during the Corvette Challenge. He also has worked on our beloved ZR-1’s and has the talent and tools to service our vehicles .
I was able to get a factory oil filter from him also .

It is our understanding that Dave will pick up your vehicle in an enclosed trailer for a very reasonable fee.
He does everything from general repairs to race mod/prep. While we like to work on our Z ourselves, it is so nice to know that we have a knowledgeable person who loves the Z within an hour from us in Toronto for items beyond our scope.

I will add him to the sticky listing. Still would be nice if someone had an actual experience with him.

We spoke in depth with an extremely picky ZR-1 owner who uses hIm a lot and has nothing but good things to say. We spent over an hour at his shop getting the tour and checking out what he was working on which was all Corvettes.

Ditto what Riviera said . Super nice guy and deals a lot with people who also race there cars and does a lot of mods . We saw a C4 ,C5, and a few C6’s having serious mods and engine upgrades done .

Anyone had any dealings with Dave of late? I've reached out to him in the past week, but haven't been able to reach him.

That's weird. I spoke to him last Year in June a couple of times. He seemed to be doing great then. I hope everything is ok. Not only a great mechanic, but he seemed a truly good guy.

Great news. I had a long talk with Dave today. Still busy as heck, but doing fine.

His shop is Stevenson Specialty Cars.
