Headers

ok.....

I'm looking to get Corsa Exhaust and while I do it maybe I will do Headers.......

Now what is the best bang for the buck? I KNOW marc's headers are awesome, but how many others are out there?

Thanks for any input :)

Re: Headers

If it were me, I'd go with Marc Haibeck's offering, but that's just me. I've talked to him on many occasions and I trust him to stand behind his stuff. I actually wished I lived closer to him, but that ain't gonna happen.
That being said, here's a partial list of current and former suppliers of headers:

Marc Haibeck
Stainless Works
Doug Rippie Motorsports
Lingenfelter (used to, maybe still does)
Callaway (used to)
Jeal (no longer)
Watsons (no longer)

Haibeck uses Stainless works headers. His only modification is adding air tubes. If you need them.

Stainless works is the only option.

Bang for the buck would be buy the bare headers and put them on yourself.

I'd recommend the Marc route though, because that's what I did. He uses SW headers, as does I believe everyone (the ones on DRM's website aren't what they really sell anymore. The picture is of Watsons, but they sell SW's).

Just a small note Jeff, but Marc also has a different O2 location. He deletes the SW O2 from one, then welds on new bungs on the top. So you end up with the two on top for the sensors, and one on the side for wideband.

Sorry I can't remember your name PennStateFootball, but if you want to see mine sometime before you decide, let me know. I had Marc recently add headers to my car, and I had him fab up the AIR tubes to comply with the visual portion of VA's emissions inspection requirement. Though our Prez Ron gets away with headers with no AIR tubes on 'em.

Re: Headers

hey thanks!

I might take you up on that sometime! I know I am getting an exhaust upgrade, but wonder if I should get headers @ the same time.

I'm David Johnson, by the way :)
