Value of a Doug Rippie '90 ZR-1 DRM500 475hp LT5..."New" in Crate...never installed...paperwork including dyno sheet? Dyno sheet says 478hp. 20-25 years old. Seller also has a ZF6 built to go with it.

What's the asking price? The DRM500 package cost about $10k plus the cost of an LT5. I would think the price that you would be willing to pay is relative to your needs (needed for car or investment to sell later).

I think the value is not there in terms of performance given what the cost is of modifying a motor to beyond the performance level of this crate engine. The ?provenance? has to do w it being a Doug Rippie motor, for whatever value that carries with it.
