WTB - Rear license plate holder
 

My 94 has a crack at the bottom. Not bad, but I'd like one without a crack in it. One of the previous owners probably didn't know you remove the screws, pull the entire holder, and let the plate come out of the slot.

From what I can tell, looks like the ZR-1 isn't compatible with the standard Corvettes, as the license plate holder appears to be wider.

Jagdpanzer made some from scratch that came out really nice. I have one on my ?91. Check w him as he may still have some or be able to make you one.

Thanks. I decided to buy some sheets of ABS plastic, and I'll just make a new one. The texture won't be a 100% match, but to the untrained eye, no one will know anything is different.

Thought I had some pictures, but I ordered 3 24"x16" sheets of black abs plastic and made a new plate housing. I didn't do a great job with the outer opening corners, so I'll probably redo it at a later time. But from 15' away nothing looks out of place.

Functions exactly like the old one. Slot for the plate to slide inside the "pocket".

All in cost was about $40 and 90 minutes of my time.

I have one from my '90 that is fine. I assume all years are the same??

Yes they are identical the entire ZR-1 MY run. GC
