Quick (and rather urgent) question on DRM brake bias spring

I'm just about to bleed my brakes (regular fluid change) and would like to install my DRM bias spring into the master cylinder.

Before I tear everything down - will I have to bench bleed the master cylinder afterwards or will a normal 4 corner bleed get all the air out?

I don't have a bench bleed kit on hand and would make my Z inoperable for an unnecessary time...

Bench bleed is required to ensure bias spring stays centered & keeps brake light off. Easy to do in a vice on an 'ear' of the MC if you can recirculate from output ports back into reservoir.

Thanks Ted. So, too much effort for me today. I'll put it back to my shelf and give another next year when next fluid change is due.

P.s. meanwhile I tried to remove the master cylinder but the front brake line nut is stuck. I drenched it in rust solvent. If it opens tomorrow I'll remove the MC and swap the spring. If not... No DRM spring for me.

Brake clean and dry the fitting before disassembly. Don?t risk contaminating the brake fluid with the penetrating oil you put on the fitting.

It didn't break loose. I skipped the swap and will retry next time.
Not sure if that spring is worth the effort...
