Are you sure that it is not a c-4 cover ? Must be for a ZR-1 to fit that wide butt !

Re: Car cover

I bought my indoor cover, a Wolf, from Corvette Central. It was reasonable and is soft, even has mirror pockets....I'm happy with it for the $.

If your a member of one of those costco or sam's clubs go check out their stuff....way cheap when they have them in stock...like 1/2 price, less than $50. They are a bit more generic but they fit okay, although a bit on the loose side and are not made as well as the name brand stuff but they mostly use the same Kimberly-Clark fabric...they just don't have the elastic hem & mirror pockets.

Re: Car cover

Well your apparent simple question (that is good!) needs a less than simple answer...
I would say you have three things to consider:
-is the cover for outdoor protection (rain resistant etc) or indoor only (dust) or a hybrid (mostly indoors but can on occasion be used outdoors)
-price break which directly relates to quality (material, seams and custom fit [as opposed to generic fit which I think is where you are])
and
-custom features such a fabric color and embroidering

Now with that said there are many sources for covers ranging from Ebay to web sites and purchases from retailers

I just procured a cover and here was my criteria:
-primarily indoor (dust) and on occasion outside such as at car events...wanted sun protection but fabric that would keep light rain or dew off of the car
-price break not an issue since I want custom fit to the ZR-1, minimum seams and high end fabric
-Custom... since I have a Bright Red ZR-1 I wanted a red cover and then I wanted a custom embroidering

So.. California Car Cover Company fit my bill>>>

and the cover of choice for me was there SoftWeave and in red with a custom embroidery>>

There are other very good car cover companies out there but as you found out there are not so good...
Just my experience

:iagree:
I purchased mine from AutoGeek.net. Browse through the Detailing/Waxing subforum on the CF and they'll point you towards a 10% discount code. I got the NOAH brand cover tailored for the Z and it's been a true dream. I point others towards that brand all the time. Good stuff!
