Delco Plugs FR2LS vs. 41602
I went to purchase plugs for my '91 and found that the stock AC FR2LS plugs that I used last time have been replaced with AC 41602. Does anyone know what the difference is?
My car is 100% stock and only driven 1K miles a year, so there is no need to upgrade to platinum or iridium replacements. Thanks, Trev |
Re: Delco Plugs FR2LS vs. 41602
For the little driving that you do - I would say no need to spend the extra cash. You would not notice any performance gain. Standard plud at .035 gap will work just fine for you. The early Z's did not have any thing really special in the way of a High out put ignition system. So there is no benefit.

The 41-602 is just the updated number for the FR2LS.
My preference is NGK, even with out doing the iridium. |

I have been using AC Delco Rapidfire with no complaint.
