Air/Fuel Gauge
Ok, So humor me. I admit that I just have the urge to do something to my ZR-1 but I've pretty much finished everything I want to do with it. I'm getting the itch to do something.
Would it ever make sense to install an air/fuel gauge such as this? Would you do it if you had headers/cats or headers/no cats? My car was tuned by SGC/Haibeck so I'm sure its on the money, but wonder if it would be a safety net for those few hundred miles I drive a year :leaving: LOL http://www.maperformance.com/zeitron...e-package.html |
Re: Air/Fuel Gauge
I wouldn't purchase this gauge. It would not really serve a purpose. Consider that the gauges in your Z are there to give you feedback on systems while you are driving. This gauge is really more for engine mapping. If you want to purchase engine mapping software, save the money for that.
Also on the negative side, it's a gauge that will just clutter up your interior (and it adds unnecessary weight - Hey, every pound counts). If you really want to get involved tuning your car, then consider purchasing a chassis dynomometer (assuming you have the room). |
Re: Air/Fuel Gauge
My car was tuned on Dyno recently.
I guess I'm just bored and looking for something to do on my Z. I guess I'll go buy some **** on ebay  |
