borla exhaust
 

hi,guys
i have read over the years that the borla exhaust system does not add
any hp because the two pipes in front of the resonator are restrictive...
somebody knows more about that? is it worth changing just those two sections? is 2.5 inch big enough for 400 rwhp ?

I can only say that the most HP gains have come from B&B based on everything I read and heard over the years. Additionally, I don't know what mods you have, but to reach 400rwhp you need more than just bolt-ons like a cat back system or even headers. Lastly, you will need a 3" rather than a 2.5" system if you want maximum HP.

From what I have read over the years a cat-back system will net you around 8-12 HP..add headers and you get another 8-12..
