Thanks everyone for the advice.
I used a new gasket, cleaned all the surfaces and torqued the bolts to specs. I also used Jerry's hoses and new clamps. Didn't want to leave much to chance.

Thanks Mom. It was driven only 1500 miles in the past 12 years.
I disconnected the battery and checked the ECM and PROM for corrosion and tight connections this morning. No difference in the DIC...
