They will not change the standard. I and many others have waged this argument with Roy Sinor over laquer paint. Lacquer paint is illegal in 22 states, and is an environmental hazard. Yet , instead of allowing full points for clear coat, they decided to give half point credit if you "flatten" the color in the door jambs and hood ledge.
