Read again... Didn't say the injectors weren't bad. After all they're 17 years old, and who knows what crud has found a home in them.
My poorly conveyed point was, that IF the injectors were to be changed for reasons
not to have anything to do with failing per se',
but rather as a precautionary measure to avoid the alcohol related issues, then one might not NEED to change them ...
But hey! If they're bad...they're bad - no arguement.. (After all...I DID provide a part # for new Accels, in the event they do in fact need to be replaced.)
