R134a is not the $6 per can, last I saw it was closer to 20. plus the r12 runs lower head pressure too
A/c seems to be working fine, just need to figure out the air volume issue

Jeff that was one of the reasons that I pulled my dash apart. I had noticed that when I ran the Air I was getting pelted with small pieces of insulation. I took all the duct work out, replaced all of the damaged pieces and re-glued all of the old pieces.
Advanced Auto has R134A for 130.00 a drum. I think the sale is over at the end of the June.
For everyone with a 90-92 that still has R12. If you blend R134A and HFC-12 you get the same temperature glide and temperature curve of R12. The draw back is you will however have to upgrade all of the seals and oil.
