I converted mine to 134 about 6yrs ago. Did not replace the seals. Just used new oil, orifice, compressor and dryer. No problems in 6yrs.
I did have an air flow problem about 10 yrs ago. Turned out to be the contacts to the control unit as I remember.
Also I bought 12 cans of 134 at a store called Bi-Mart here in the NW for $5/can. I've never seen $20 a can.
