If the grease pencil date survives (might be VERY faint) it shows the completion date... in my case that reads 10 27 89 and the build sheet shows a start (placed in production) date of 10 24 89 (297 calendar days into 1989). Production delays (maybe like sport seats not being available at time of production  ) can extend out production times. |
Thanks a million, Michael. As I my search first showed me the suggestion of dropping the spare tire and checking for a date on the rear subframe I tried that but no luck but yours worked great. "3 27" showed up just fine (no year) and that fit with "03/90" on the VIN Certification Label and the customer delivery date of mid April, 1990.
