Just went to redline 10w30. Don't know which did it but the chain tensioner rattle is a lot quieter and maybe even gone at times, even before the pressure builds up, also went to the new style bosch filter with the visible spring bypass valve in the far end of the filter(with about 12 hours between engine starts).
