Okay Brandon this is convoluted, so humor me a bit!
I fell victum to the Q/C issues w/ the DOM type slaves. Out of desperation I went to autopartswarehouse.com to see what they had. I was using dealer parts, then Rockauto.com parts....no joy with any of those. There is alot more to the Q/C issue than just the seal reversal.
Anyway @ autopartswarehouse.com they had a cast type slave (had is the operative word, it's no longer listed now) by Federal-Mogul. I e-mailed the "on-line" help and they said it was not a TRW unit. So I figured why not try one.
On my bill the "shipping point" is listed as:
Allentown Distribution Center
Federal-Mogul Corp.
6736 Tilgman Street
Allentown, PA 18106
The P/N I listed, F120165, I think is a F-M P/N. My bill further states that from the F-M dist. center the slave was sold to

I assume that this is autopartswarehouse.com???)
Middle Atlantic Warehouse
8980 East 33rd street
Indianapolis, IN 46226-6530
I assume that on my bill where it says "our brand" = MWG, that is autopartswarehouse.com brand???
The only reservation I had about using the F-M slave was that as a cast unit the mounting flange looked to be too thick and looked like my retainer nuts wouldn't get a good enough bite on the studs. That's whay I transplanted the guts from the F-M slave into a DOM body. Obviously that's when I saw the difference between F-M's seal and TRW's.
Only thing I can suggest is call F-M directly and try the P/N I listed or try by application. Mine is still working after about 5K miles. Oh, forgot this, the rebuild kits are NLA from GM. They used to be listed in 06 but when I tried to buy they came back NLA.

Sorry about the convoluted write up!
