Chuck, if you didn't have bad luck then you wouldn't have any luck at all.
Got a suggestion for ya...Use Tupperware/Rubbermaid or plastic containers (cottage cheese /butter etc.) with lids for your bolts. I also use old semi clear pill bottles with twist caps and label them as to where the bolts come from. You can also use magnetic parts trays sometimes. Not all bolts are magnetic so the different containers work best.
