I think this needs to be addressed for people wanting to run but have NO CLUE what it takes..

Will keep me from running until my kids are older and I have more time.. right now most my time is spent with my kids
I know how much time volunteering can take and I cannot take on any more volunteer stuff at the moment as much as I would like to..
here is my current volunteer list:
-Assistant Scout Master
-Merit Badge Counselor (Scouts)
-STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics) Counselor (Scouts)
-Soccer Coach
-VP, Parent board for local swim team
granted the VP spot is summer only, but the scout stuff takes up a lot of time.. 4 nights this week alone..
I figure when my kids are in college I will be ready
right now they are 9 and 12
