That's awesome.

I have transmission that may interest you.
Manual New Process A833 w/ OD 4wd
dual pattern bellhousing, complete from shifter ball to crossmember. Only .05% trucks ordered this RPO
"Very Rare, said to be Special Order Only some places I found available info on these transmission. Dodge has used them way back in the 60's in Cast Iron form behind 426 Hemi motors so they obviously have some stength. Chevy units come in both Aluminum case for 2wd and Cast Iton for 4wd. GM RPO codes to look for are MY6 and MM7.

Total of 4 speeds, with 4th gear being Overdrive. Gear Ratios are very close to that of a 700r4 4 speed Automatic Transmission. Dodge variety came in different ratios depending on the vehicle application since they also used it in passenger cars. GM only had 1 set of gear ratios. Here is the gear ratios compare to a 700r4 4 speed Automatic

GM New Process A833
1st 3.09 2nd 1.67 3rd 1.00 4th .73 OD

GM 700r4 4 speed Automatic w/ Converter Lock Up
1st 3.06 2nd 1.63 3rd 1.00 4th .70 OD"
