When I had the seat covers on my 87 replaced a couple years back, the upholsterer described the original bladders as "swiss cheese". If this is the case, it's unfortunate, because if you try to replace them, you end up ruining at least the seat foam and probably the seat covers too. The motors on my Z worked fine but the bladders wouldn't inflate, and I assumed that was likely the issue. Good luck.
