Why is it snobbish to think there isn't much in common between the cars? I don't have anything against the new ZR1, it looks to be pretty badass. I just don't see how there's any real overlap in the new Z and ours.

If we just want to include other 'vettes to get more numbers, why not include all C4's too? They at least have some technical stuff in common. Increasing membership seems like a poor reason to me. It's not like this is a for-profit business. If it's about gatherings/events, well the Registry teamed up with the GS and Callaway guys just fine without having to have them join up here.

Doesn't the "registry" part of the Net Reg come from the LT5 registry? If GM ever slaps that on something again, will we invite the owners of whatever that is (some diesel hybrid econo car probably)?
