Thanks Jeff - actually got my Cobra beat by a heavily-modified series 1 Miata last year, when I went to talk to the Guy he was pretty rude - so I asked him if his wife knew he drove her car on Sundays, my point being that you can put a Wiley-E-Coyote-Acme-Rocket-Booster in a Chevette, it'll be fast but it'll still be a Chevette!!

On the other hand I've never received anything but positive comments from the 'Vette contingent - usually helping me with the line and brake points as well. Also, just like the Cobra - everyone stops to watch a 'Vette through the cones. My goal is more with having fun than winning National Championships and I'll bet a stock Z will be PDQ in stock form.

Thing is a prefer the black belt-line look of the '90. Can I assume that unless I'm redlined for longer periods of time the 2 bolt main motors will be fine? Also, with an exhaust, your chip and a PNWZR1 intake port and polish will get me close on 400 FWHP?
