Default WTB A-pillar NOS weatherstrip

As Jeff and GC mentioned, factory sealed is very important if NOS since it’s quite old now. One that I bought came in a huge GM box that had the large sealed foil bag inside. Once the foil bag is opened I guess it is compromised for long term storage. I didn’t see if there was an actual GM part number 10268887 was on the weatherstrip itself. The Corvette shop in Japan tried their best to save the original weatherstrip when I replaced the windshield, but could not and I was not there to see them break the seal of the foil bag.

I was fortunate that my insurance company gave me $3400 to replace my delaminated windshield as a safety issue based on current replacement cost for all the GM parts and labor. After the claim they told me they should not have done it and it was a mistake.

I heard this reproduction weatherstrip is the best one out there if you can’t find or willing to pay for the OEM NOS one. Best wishes as they are harder and harder to find now.
