Perhaps in width, but in head and legroom, I found the C7 to be practically undriveable. I had a C7 Grand Sport in Admiral Blue over Kalahari ready to order.. With a 7 speed manual. Just over $80k Canadian, and I was ready to pull the trigger on my dream Corvette. Until I realized that I just couldn't drive it. I had some ins with the Corvette team, and they admitted that they made the C7 too small. Hence the move to a much roomier C8.
