I have a Lokar stick on my C5 with a custom steel tube the same dimensions as the factory C5 tube.

The handle is the Lokar LS version. Just test fitted on a dip stick tube I have in the garage. It will not fit. The Z tube is a smaller diameter. The LS tube is swaged at the top to a larger ID.

That said you can likely remove the stick from the handle and braze in the flexible Lokar stick keeping the handle stock.
