Hey Ricki,

I haven't tried what you are describing so can't say for sure but most likely, as long as you stay with thin sound proofing material (I thinkk 1/8" or less?), should be ok. For A pillar, B pillar halo, and rear cargo area deck, keep overlapping portions free of underlayment.
I bet these pieces covered in Napa leather looks fabulous.
Hope you come to Carlisle so that I can check it out.
