Have you done a basic reset? when I have my 89 corvette with all 1991 electronics the AC was not working, It had a code, would blow warm air, I assumed it needed a charge but wouldn't take (that was R134a). I had found something in the FSM I think, but I disconnected the battery, then let it sit a minute or two. then reconnected, left the Fresh air door motor calibrate, then started the car.. AC, was blowing cold..
This was 20 or more years ago, but i remember the battery disconnect fixed my issue
