Second, may I suggest you list your location by going into your User CP so that others will have a general idea where you live.
You will find that many people have modified their ZR-1's from simple bolt-ons to full blown race cars with nitrous and turbos. As to maintenance issues and everything there is to know, I'd suggest you review these links first;
