This could very well be bad plug wire(s). About 35,000 miles is what you'll get out of stock wires. Go to GM and buy stock LT5 wires, they are still red but just don't say LT5 on them and the cost is only around $40.00.

I would change the plugs while you are at it.

You can check the wires by matching up the two that are on the same coil and run an ohm meter from the end of one plug wire to the other.
