Craig, more than likely the surfaces have been cleansed with something in the past. The LT5 finish is durable, but yet it is very fragfile at the same time to chemicals. Water can even discolor the pieces if they are warm. I'm also abailable to travel and do the tear down and rebuild if you would like.
