I used to go from 4.10s to 3.45s every other time I drove a ZR-1. Then I came up with a good idea to keep me from driving the 4.10s for almost a year. Kevin is spot on with his post.

Seriously, I now swap between 4.30s and 3.45s. 4.30s are too much. 4.10s are good for street/city driving and 55 mph areas. My 3.45 car is fairly strong with headers, x-piped B&B and Haibeck chip. I like the long pull in the gears of the 3.45s. I shift the 4.30 car way too much and six gear is actually like fifth-ish with 3.45s.

Short of it-->stick with the 4.10s if you already have them and the car is still a 350cid.
