I use Mobile 1 0w-40

The standard grades are not available over here and have to be inported. I checked with Marc first and he said it would be perfect for my engine - I guess he knows as he built it!! Its done over 12000 miles in the 1 3/4 years since he built it and its doing just fine.

I think regular oil changes are the key more than what make oil. Especially when you consider the amount of old oil that is retained in the engine at an oil/filter change.
