Hey Chris, that's a cool link to a very impressive chassis....but is that car "legal" for US importation? If it is that is very impressive.

yes it is legal. there are certain inspections that need to be done to prove to local autorities that it is street legal and there may be some inspection requirement to get a tittle for it but there are several of these around the US. just very few and far between. they make them in both left and right hand drive designs. if you look at the stats on this thing in comparrison to all the other supercars, there is nothing out there than can compete. this car shattered the lap record used by Top Gear TV by 5 seconds!!! it weighs 1800lbs and does over 100mph in second gear. 0-60 in 2.6secs, 0-100 in 3.6sec, 0-100-0 in 9.4sec. it even has a higher top speed and a faster 1/4mile then the bugatti veyron. in terms of performance for the dollar, this cannot be beat. my favorite thing about this car is that it is powerd by a small block chevy. i read an article in car craft magazine about a guy that owned one of these and he was behind a blown mustang getting on the freeway and he passed the mustang like 50 or so MPH faster then the mustang. the mustang caught up with him later and asked him how that was possible becuase his mustang was blown and he had the throttle burried.
didn't mean to hijack the thread. sorry for that. lol.
