Other than attacking the resin used on the coil windings for our fuel injectors there isn't much of a problem. You can use Techron additive every other time you fill up. I was told by C4C5specialist that it will keep the water bound up & clean all the nasty stuff in the fuel system. I try to add a bottle at every fill but I don't let mine go too far below 1/4 tank. I put marine fuel stabilizer in the tank just before winter lay-up along with a big bottle of Techron. I didn't have any issues at spring get ready with water in the fuel & I just waited till that tank was used up before swapping plugs & fuel filter. The alcohol has been in our NE gas for a good long while. It finally killed the OE injectors this summer, shorted the coils when the resin finally disolved. R. C. Engineering injectors solved that problem for me & now it's back to it's old self.
