I just ordered the full coil over suspension package from DRM for my 1990 and am looking at the brake upgrade options. What have people tried and what works. I am leaning toward the Wilwood package but have not meet anyone that is running them.
You have a lot of options here. The biggest factor in deciding which direction you will go is cost. Next factor is what you plan to do with the car. The stock brakes are not bad, but just will not stand up to repeated, hard uses such as in autocrossing.

The leading candidates are Wilwood, Baer & Brembo. One of your decisions will be the emergency brake. Willwood makes an auxilary caliper for the emergency brake but it is considered to be inferior. Exotic Muscle sells a 4 piston F & R Brembo set-up that retains the rear caliper for emerg brake use only by placing the brake caliper behind the centerline of the axel. Cost is not cheap, but performance rarely is. Complete setup will run abt $5,000. One detracting point of Exotic Muscle is they have their name & logo on the calipers instead of Brembo. Personally, I think it cheapens the look.
