Yes John Westchester & Nassau requires that you go on the "roller test loop" as part of the emissions testing. I think they sniff at idle and then put the car thru a simulated driving city-highway loop with the sniffer and the scanner connected to the ALDL while the car is on the roller rack. They scan the bar code on the registration sticker to verify ownership address and vehicle type and then it's off to the test loop.
I gotta get me property up by you so I can skate by on them.....I wish. Actually I think now Putnam & Rockland & maybe even Dutches & Orange Cos. are "in" the zone for the roller test.
