Found the large retainer ring on the left tensioner with about 20% broken off the end.
![]() As a result it will not allow the inner plunger to lock in the retaining groves of the outer cylinder like it is suppose to. Can anyone help with a source for replacement retainer rings? Otherwise the tensioner is in perfect condition. |

Phil you really don't need that ring.
The only reason it's there so that half of the tensioner does not fall into the motor if you break a chain and if you break a chain you have bigger issues then to worry about part of the tensioner. Pete
