What was the model number of the original Delco battery in our ZR-1's?
Was it different than what other C4's of the day received? Was it the same AC DELCO every year from 1990-1995 or was it changed along the way? |

My 1990 / 91 NCRS Technical and Judging Manual lists the 1990 ZR1 battery as a model 75-695 and a CCA rating of 695 amps. The 1990 L98 and B2Khad a model 75-525, and has a CCA rating of 525 amps. All Corvette batteries in 1991 were model 75-630, with a CCA rating of 630 amps. I don't know about the later years.

If memory serves me right all years were Delco Freedom Plus II.
Hopefully someone who still has an original (for shows/judging purposes) will post a picture. It would certainly worth some reputation points. ![]() ![]() |
