I added some Watson headers over the winter and took the car out for the first time yesterday. I was rewarded with a best of 12.532 @ 112.79. Best time last year here in Boise was 12.959 @ 109.17. That's a gain of .427 in ET and 3.62 MPH.
I think the headers were a good addition. They sound great and the cars pulls really well through the gears. There might be better times available as I noticed the clutch slipping on the way home. I'll get that replaced and try again later. |

Good times John.
On the clutch, you may have just overheated it some. Take it out later and load it up and see if you can get it to slip. |

Thanks guys. I like the term stout Ryan, that's cool.
Needless to say I'm looking forward to the Gathering and some near sea level runs. I'm thinkin' 12.30's @ 118 will be possible based on what I picked up there last year. Whoopee, come on PNW Gathering. |

Hammer,
Put a scantool on the car during a run. See if there's any KR going on? |

If you still do not have port work, I think you will do better @ 64-6500 rpm.
