How many miles on it before you tore into it?

what oil was used?

It's a 94. Low mileage, has 42,000. Used M1 since he has owned it, not sure about owner #1.

So Jeffie, if it only had 42k miles, why are you taking the heads off?
Is it going to be another 415 monster stroker?

I wish. The heads are still on it. Had to replace the oil pick up tube grommet.

If you change your oil once a year or evry 1000 miles ( which ever comes 1st) it should look like that - Don't we all service our Z's that way ?????
